Hello my name is Ffion,

After taking up Jewellery making in 2020, I am now excited to share my jewellery creations with you!

I am a self-taught jeweller, who loves organic, unique and flowy hand-made designs. Created with everyday wear in mind.

All the pieces you see on my website are made one of a kind, from my home jewellery bench. With occasional back yard blow torching as required.

When I’m not at my jewellery bench you’ll find me, in a gym, playing with my dog or upside down at the pole studio.

I hope your new piece adds as much joy to your life as it does to mine.

All the best,

Ffion

Creating Ffion Anne pieces

To create each piece, I choose between one of the following processes.

Soldering and saw piercing - a constructive process in which metal is reshaped and soldered together, often used for clean and precise lines.

Sand casting - an ancient technique in which moulds are created in sand. Metal is then poured into this mould. Allowing for a uniquely textured finish, often less predictable in comparison to other techniques. See pictures.

Lost wax casting - an ancient technique adapted to the modern day, in which models are designed in wax. These models are then melted away ‘lost’ to create a negative mould for a metal to then be poured into. Allowing for finer detailed creations.

At Ffion Anne Jewellery these processes are used to create gold and silver pieces individually. Guaranteeing their uniqueness, and best of all,  no plating.

All pieces are designed to last and can be re-polished as necessary.
